These sight word watches are a great tool to use to help students learn to read and spell new sight words. I used these sight word watches with some students who were struggling to learn a few sight words as an intervention. The students were excited to color and cut out their watch and wear it throughout the day. I would ask them multiple times what the word was and how to spell it. This repetition did help many of my students learn those specific words they were stuck on. Parents also liked seeing the sight word watches come home because it helped them to know the words that I was teaching at school. I included the 25 kindergarten sight words in this resource. Additionally, there are 3 blank watches that you can use to practice numbers, other words, or any other concept your students could use some additional work with. These watches can also be fun to use as a whole group word study interactive lesson. The children can cut and color their watch and then take white boards around the classroom to record the words on their friends' watches. They are sure to be a hit!
