I created this for my students who were just not getting the sight words.
I use these sheets while working with a small group. We first go over the entire 10 words. Students say it, spell it and say it again.
When they get their worksheet, they write their name and stop. We go over all 10 words at the top. Then, they find the word that the kid is holding and say it. Next, student dab the words. Each time they dab the word we are working on they say it. The next step is trace and write. Students say the word each time they write it. We read the sentence “tree” together. Students may use a highlighter to highlight our specific word and say it each time they highlight it. The last
step is to build the word.
There is a worksheet for all of the 1st 100 words. The worksheets are organized in sets of 10 to make things easier.
