Sight Word Worksheets
First Day Sight Word Worksheets - Perfect for Introducing Words
This file will give your 100 simple worksheets for students to take home on the day they learn their new sight word.
When students first learn sight words, they are learning to remember the overall shape of the word. This worksheet will help create a visual memory of the word shape and provide fine motor practice as well, with each letter filled with tracing lines.
Students will have fun tracing the lines in a marker, and shading the rest of the word with pencil perhaps.
The 100 words we have used are the 100 most frequently used words in all that we read.
