Color by Code Sight Words, Dolch Pre, Primer and 1st Grade. There are 4 pages per level in this pack. I use 1 per week in my word work stations.
Directions: Supply students with the page that has the list of appropriate Dolch Sight Words. Each page has words from the end of the frequency list for that level. Have the children find the word, say the word and spell the word before they color the section.
Additional Practice: turn the page over and write, illustrate or complete a sentence with the words. My students sometimes use letter tiles to build words after they have completed the activity.
RF.K.3.c: Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does).
RF.1.3: Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
