Written activities to strengthen recognition of sight words "can't, isn't, under, was", "to, go, down, saw", "my, where, here, they" and wasn't, little, by, put." These are sight words in SIPPS lessons 21-30.
I like to do the SIPPS writing portion on the reverse side of these worksheets and then have students flip them over to do this as a sight word review activity. Also can be used as an intervention or homework lesson.
Two pages are identical, but one with a cutting/gluing activity and one without (for when you don't have time or space for cutting and pasting). The word list can be used as a bookmark or assessment. The word grid can be used as a memory game or a reading assessment and flash cards. Sometimes I will have the student color the grids in, each square with the same word being colored the same color.
