This is a fun and interactive emergent reader designed for endless sight word practice. The book features removable and moveable velcro words that allow students to change the order of words for every read.
You will receive printables for the book in color and black and white, as well as photos and instructions on how to build and use the book, and instructions for volunteers to prepare it.
The words featured are: a, am, at, and, can, dad, go, here, I, in, it, is, like, look, my, me, mom, no, on, see, said, to, the, we, and you.
There are also several blank spaces available to add desired words.
Students will love changing the book each time they read it, and the novelty requires them to carefully attend to the sight words. There are text challenges on several pages that encourage students to notice the first letter, read through the word, and practice one to one correspondence, all to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus!"
