Fun worksheets with a variety of activities to help students practice sight words.
This 91 page packet provides practice with each word from the pre-primer Dolch Word List. There are two pages for each word (with the exception of "I" and "a"). The first page presents the word in large letters with a dot underneath each letter. The child touches each dot and says the letter names, then runs his/her finger from the left to the right under the word in the path of the arrow. The word should be said as a whole word when using the arrow. The second page for each word has the words with dots, the words with arrows, a tracing the word section, a fill in the missing letter section and a reading and illustration section. There are 7 pages where students use bingo daubers to daub the words in a certain color and 5 pages where the students color the picture by a sight word color code. The preview shows samples of each of these pages. These would be great for centers, small groups, partner activities, Title I, RTI, or introduction to sight words.
