If it is read incorrectly, then the student will place the card in the discard pile. If the student draws a POP! card, then he/she will have to return all their cards to the discard pile. I Spy Sight Word Find--Students will use a magnifying glass to locate all 25 sight words that are hidden on the next page. Then they will record their answers on the I Spy Recording Sheet.
Word Wall Cards/Flash Cards-There are 3 different sets of flash cards in this product. One that is cutesy, one that is plain but has color on it, another that is printer friendly. Choose the one you like the best.
Phonetically Decoded Words-I make my students look for special letters, such as two letter phonograms, blends, digraphs, etc. Then we underline them and put one dot underneath. Next, I have students put a dot under each letter that makes a sound. Then, we say each sound, next sing the sounds together, then last but not least, we say the word the fast way. My students really grew into great readers when they learned how to do this. Use this if you like!
