VROOM VROOM! Engage kinesthetic learners by inviting them to drive their car along the roadway and park in the spot that corresponds to the correct sight word.
Includes map and Fry's First 100 words for printing.
HOW TO USE:
Print the sight words on cardstock and cut out to fit the parking spaces.
Place the words your student needs to practice on the parking spots or just off the edge of the image.
Say, “Drive your car to [sight word].” Invite the student to use a small toy car, penny, or Bingo marker to drive along the path and “park” in the spot that corresponds with the word you named.
High res file allows you to print on larger paper to fit bigger cars.
USE TO REVIEW ANY CONCEPT:
Parking spaces are intentionally left blank allowing teachers to review any material.
Just change the criterion in the parking spaces to match the concept you want to review (colors, shapes, math symbols, vocabulary words to match a given definition, etc.). Treat the parking spaces like multiple choice options on an assessment.
