Learning sight words one at a time is useful. Learning sight words together with other sight words is the next step up in sight word reading.
This package contains cards with phrases using sight words from the Nouns sight words list and words from sight word lists for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grades. Each of the Nouns have at least 4 phrase cards containing a specific noun word.
Within the phrase cards are simple sentences as well as phrases. Except for the word "don't" (which is introduced in the Second Grade) with its apostrophe, none of the phrase cards include any punctuation.
Some nouns can be used as verbs, and some of the phrases illustrate that usage. Other nouns can be used as adjectives, and there are phrases to illustrate such. Sometimes the same word has a different meaning from one phrase to another.
Printing instructions are included, as well as ideas on how to use them.
