This is a free sample of 25 slides of the Sight Words Power point presentation that I have available for purchase, which contains 100 slides. I researched the most commonly used sight words in the English language and made an audio clip of my voice saying each word. Each slide consists of one sight word, with an audio clip of the word. I made this using my iMac, OS X, using powerpoint. It can be used on a PC, but the formatting might change. I have also tested it out on my iPad, and it works perfectly when using iWork-Pages. I have set the audioclips to play when the cursor is moved over the audio clip icon. You can also click on the audio clip icon to play the sound. If you use this with an iPad, the audio plays automatically at the beginning of each slide. I designed this with my students in mind, so it is very simple to use, all you have to do is start the powerpoint presentation, then move your mouse pointer over the audio icon below each word to hear the sound. My intention was that students who cannot read, or are at a very low level of reading, could use this program after being given basic instructions.
