Use this board game for beginning sight word learners. Students will enjoy reading these words as well as playing with their friends or teachers. This game can be pasted into a file folder or taped together as a large game board.
How to Play:
First roll the dice to see who goes first. The person who rolls the larger number will go first.
1. Place your game pieces on the “One Way” sign under start. The person who rolled the larger number will roll the dice and go first.
2. The player will then move that many spaces. The player will then read the word they land on.
3. If player lands on a square that says something other than a sight word they will do what that box says.
4. The player that lands on the “Stop” sign with an even roll will win.
EX: if the player has 2 spots to make it to stop, and they
roll a 3, they will not be able to move until they roll a 1 or a 2.
