Most assessments for sight words record just how many words were read correctly.
This download goes beyond the number correct by providing some structure to analyze and reflect on sounds missed.
Don't let the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) scare you. Since the letters that make up sight words make different sounds, the IPA allows you to analyze the sounds missed, giving you a chance to group trouble spots (words not students) by common sounds.
Remember: Formative assessments drive instruction.
