Product Description
In this cross-curricular STEM approach to Elie Wiesel's Night, students will quantify responsibility for evil in an attempt to evaluate Wiesel's assertion that "Silence encourages the tormentor." This 1-3 day lesson, which can be used as a review, an introduction, or an assessment, gets kids thinking critically about the circumstances that led to the Holocaust, representing their thinking graphically, interacting with one another, and writing argumentatively in an authentic context.
