This BINGO is a perfect student-led activity. Because students roll a dice to find a word, the teacher is not needed to run the activity as the BINGO caller.
Students roll a dice to determine which long vowel word they need to find. They must use strategy to determine which word they will cover in order to work toward a BINGO. Students should roll the dice, find a word, and read the word. They will either be working for 4 in a row or 5 in a row, depending on which board you chose for them.
This activity includes 4 boards with 24 squares, and 4 boards with 16 squares for different length of time/difficulty. All words follow the silent e pattern (a-e, i-e, o-e, u-e, e-e).
