In order to play this piece, students must know how to play the C Major Scale plus high D on the recorder. Parts A and B use all notes while Part C just spans from Low C to G.
Part A: All notes from Low C to High D
Part B: All notes from Low C to High D
Part C: Low C, Low D, E, F, G
This is a great way to practice their C Major Scale as well as playing in 3/4 time.
You can also have students perform this piece with a variety of classroom instruments, including metallophones, xylophones, bells, boomwhackers, piano or keyboards.
Students can also sing the song as a choral ensemble.
This would be the perfect piece for your Winter Concert or performance.
