I don't know about you, but my sophomores sometimes have a hard time doing work quietly, especially since I have them during the last hour of the day. This activity asks students to walk around the room and have other students fill in the definitions of terms but the catch is they cannot talk! This also helps them practice non-verbal body language... and restraint! The students are given a set of boxes with different terms in them. They have to find people who can define the terms by walking around the room but without talking. Afterwards, we go over the definitions together and they check to see what they got correct.
