This power point is designed to be used with each student having a lap sized white board and dry erase marker. A slide will appear with a simple graphic of a word that ends with silent e. The children write the word on their white board then the teacher or student can click and the correct answer will appear to let them check their work. This can be used whole group, a teacher table or as a self directed small group literacy station. I would use the first power point whole group so that the children understood what to do. I will soon have 2 or 3 more available so they can practice a variety on their own.
This power point contains 10 silent e words that follow the cvc-e pattern then there is a congratulations slide you made it to 10 slide followed by 5 more words that use a beginning blend. The opening slide has a drumroll sound effect and the congrats slide has an applause sound effect.
