This activity allows students to practice creating sentences by combining a subject and predicate.
Students will match one subject with one predicate to create a sentence. They write their sentence and then go on to create a new one. There are 20 subjects and 20 predicates. You may want to use this whole group or have the pieces available in independent centers.
There is an instruction slide to be printed on white paper or cardstock. The remaining slides indicate if they should be printed on red or blue cardstock/ paper to indicate that they are subjects or predicates.
Warning: Some sentences may be silly!
