Practice CV syllables with the help of the octopus’ legs!
Sounds targeted:
/p/, /b/, /m/, /w/, /t/, /d/, /n/, /s/, /z/, “sh”, “ch”, /f/, /v/, “th”, /h/, /k/, /g/

Directions: To begin, have child trace the letter and practice saying the sound in isolation. Then model the “silly syllable” (both short and long vowel sounds). Have the child repeat the syllable 3 times, then draw a line from the consonant sound to the vowel sound at the end of the octopus’ leg.
