Directions/Suggestions for Use:
*use as a center or a follow up to a center
*print mats with spinners on card stock and laminate
*laminate and cut feather manipulative sheet (cut outline of feathers or
around the dotted lines)
*you will need up to 10 feathers per child
**other feather ideas--use real feathers or play dough!
**For counting mats with the spinner:
*attach a spinner to the center of the pumpkin OR students can use a
paper clip and pencil to create the spinner
*have students ‘spin’ for a numeral and place that many feathers
on the turkey (4 options to choose from 0-5, 1-5, 6-10 or 1-10!)
**Looking for some SENSORY FUN? Have your students use play
dough to create the feathers instead of the feather manipulative pieces!
