This is part of a supplemental spelling program that builds understanding of American English spelling rules using Orton Gillingham based teaching methods. The Silver Moon program was written specifically for students who struggle with spelling and is most appropriate for small groups or one-on-one instruction. Our charming characters, witty rule names and logical rules have memory aids embedded within to support retention of material. This program bring spelling rules to life by giving them a name and a face.
The spelling rule cards (picture of the Sick Elk) are double sided. The back side is not shown, but includes a smaller image of the sick elk and the spelling rule is defined below the image.
