This product is introductory notes over using indirect measurement to find the missing measures of similar figures or the height of an object that is too difficult to measure. This product includes a separate title page that can be copied back-to-back with the notes so that they can be used in a student's interactive math journal.
These notes take the students step-by-step in two examples. The first example is two similar triangles with a missing side, and the second example goes over how to use the shadow of objects to find the missing measure.
If you would like to add these notes to your students' math journals, copy the cover page and the notes page back-to-back and fold the paper "hotdog style".
An answer key is included.
