Similar Triangles (SSS, SAS, and AA Similarity) Cut and Paste
Using diagram markings and given information, students will practice determining whether triangles are similar by Side-Side-Side Similarity (SSS~), Side-Angle-Side Similarity (SAS~), or Angle-Angle (AA~) Similarity.
Simply give each student the diagrams sheet and the template. They cut out the 16 diagrams, sort them by which postulate or theorem proves them similar (if possible), determine the similarity statement, then paste on to the template using the row and column headings. Because of the similarity statements, there is only ONE correct answer to this activity. I numbered the diagrams so it will be easier to check their work.
This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class. It works perfect in conjunction with my Similar Triangles Unit Bundle!
