This is a digital version
of my Similar Triangles Cut and Paste Activity
designed in Google Slides.
Using diagram markings and other given information, students will practice determining whether triangles are similar by Side-Side-Side Similarity (SSS~), Side-Angle-Side Similarity (SAS~), or Angle-Angle (AA~) Similarity.
Once purchased, you will receive a document with directions on how to download this activity to your Google drive. You and your students must have a free Google account in order to access this activity. Once you download the activity to your Google drive, you can share it with your students.
Students sort the 16 diagrams by which postulate or theorem proves them similar (if possible) and identify the valid similarity statement. They drag the pieces on to the template using the row and column headings. Because of the similarity statements, there is only ONE correct answer to this activity. Once they complete the activity, they can share it back with you. The diagrams are numbered to make it very easy to check their work.
Digital versions of activities for Google Drive are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. All non-digital printable versions can be found in the curriculum.
