PLEASE RATE! :) This activity involves six stations covering triangle similarity. The stations include: solving proportions, proving triangles similar, finding missing sides and angles given similar triangles, triangle proportionality theorem, angle bisector theorem, and word problems involving similar triangles.
Students will work problems in groups of 4. It is essential that all students complete their problem(s) at the station so that they can combine their answers to find the solution to the geometry joke! The jokes are corny, but the students laugh while completing the stations and have asked that I add more jokes to my activities. I have included the answers to the jokes.
Please note: One station will require students to solve a quadratic equation by factoring.
