Product Description
Working on Figurative Language with your students and want a fun activity to get them thinking?? Simile Yourself is the one for you!

As an inclusive classroom, we know the importance of having activities that are already accommodated for students who are on 504 or IEPs.

There are two versions of this activity that allow you to differentiate in the classroom without having to put in too much effort. The 2nd differentiated version gives step by step instructions to your students who need help being organized and a reduced amount of work while still completing the same end assignment as other peers.

Start off reading the story My Dog is as Smelly as a Smelly Sock by Hanoch Piven and begin a whole group discussion on similes! Use the pictures in the book as inspiration for your students to create a portrait of themselves using similes.

Get ready for fun and laughter as you watch your students portraits come to life!
