Simile and Metaphor Self-Portrait Activity
This printable worksheet asks students to write similes and metaphors about themselves. They need to write about their eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and cheeks. They also need to identify whether they have written a simile or a metaphor.
This is a great activity to get students to write their own sentences AND correctly identify what type of sentence they have written.
As a culminating part of this activity, the students are asked to draw a picture to represent themselves.
