*This test is designed to be a very simple review of the Civil War. It can be used as a template as well. Editing is enabled. It was created in Microsoft Word and can be edited as you see fit.
*The preview file is page 1 of 2 pages. The 3rd page has one essay question which you may or may not want to use.
* The majority of the 3rd-4th grade reading level books will have information pertaining to these test questions.
*This could be used in special education or for home school
*I based it on the 4th grade Scott Foresman Texas Social Studies textbook (ISBN: 0-328-01786-8) but I wanted to teach about the Civil War, not about the role of Texas specifically, in the Civil War. So, although I used the vocabulary from the textbook, you can change it to fit your students’ needs. There are two questions about Texas but again, they can be changed. I included them because Texas did play a large role in the fight to keep slavery.
*This test is typed in Calibri font with multiple line spacing but it can be changed. I like my documents to look clean and simple but you may prefer to condense this to a one page test using different spacing. You will need to “select all” and once the document is high-lighted, you can go to “paragraph” and find “line spacing” under that tab. Once you change the line spacing you will need to fix the way the lines look or delete them completely.
