This is one of those activities that really make the "light bulbs" go on! It is a quick yet effective worksheet that gives students 12 different scenarios, and they must decide if that scenario would cause mass and weight (separately) to increase, decrease or stay the same. For example, when given the scenario "Your classmate flies in the space shuttle and docks with the International Space Station that orbits Earth", students would need to state that mass would stay the same, but weight would decrease.
This is a HALF page activity, so you make half the copies and cut them in half. It's pretty quick (yet so helpful), so we often use it as a station in a larger day of activities or as a homework assignment.
