Product Description

A hands-on inquiry activity on the force of gravity where students observe if water will drip out of a falling cup. Students make a hole in a plastic cup and observe water dripping out. They then hold the cup up high with the hole covered with their finger and drop the cup into a sink or small tub. Will the water come out?

The resource is aligned with NGSS.

A fun quickie lab, and you’ll definitely need a towel to clean up some of the water!
