Students can test out every simple machine in these 6 easy experiments. This editable document has a worksheet (PHEOC based) for each experiment that includes how to do the experiment and questions. Each simple machine experiment takes about 10-15 minutes and is setup using supplies that you can easily find around the house or buy at a local store. I taught these with 4th graders and have a half hour for science each day. I set up the stations beforehand. In 30 minutes, I was able to efficiently give directions/model and have each group of students do 2 simple machine experiments. This should give you an idea of time. This is a microsoft word document incase you use different supplies, you can just edit my original supply lists on the worksheets!
My students really liked these and it seemed to really help them master simple machines!
