This resource contains two very important things on a single handout. One side provides the clear, simple steps for doing any research online. It begins with the search engine, concludes with the source's credibility, and has every little thing in between. It is scaffolded enough for someone who has never researched any topic before. As long as the student is somewhat familiar with technology, he/she should be successful following these steps. (My students were.)
The other side contains a research log that matches up with the "How to" steps. Obviously, if you'd like more logs, you simply make more copies of it.
This is really solid for an argumentative unit, but in reality it can apply to any class needing to find information online.
