Product Description
Simple and Complete Subjects

This product contains 30 task cards with a focus on simple and complete subjects.

Students are asked to:
Read each sentence. Write the complete subject and underline the simple subject on their recording sheet.

They are perfect for centers, morning work, early finishers, and small groups.

Use them for a movement break that includes a learning activity, we play the game "Scoot".

Use them like flashcards for review with a small group of students. (They write the answers on a dry erase board and hold them up for the teacher to quickly assess.)

I suggest printing the student direction pages in color (They do look fine printed in grayscale.), laminating them, and attaching each one to the front of a 9x12 envelope. Print the cards in color or in grayscale on color cardstock, laminate, and cut for student use. Place the cards in a Ziploc bag and keep them and the recording sheets inside the 9x12 envelopes.
