Product Description
Self-checking partner activities are a great way to practice probability. This will give you chances to practice simple probability, compound probability with models, compound probability and making predictions based on probability.

This resource provides four different partner activities; each activity has 2 parts. The first part can be done first individually (or in partners). Students work on different problems but get the same answers. For the second part of each activity, students use the information from the problems in part 1 to answer additional question.

Activity 1 is about simple probability. The second part of this activity has problems about finding sample space, certain events and impossible events.
Activity 2 is about compound probability from a model that is provided. The second part of this activity has students make models of their own for compound probability situations.
Activity 3 is about compound probability (without a model provided). On the second part of this activity, students find the number of winners of certain games, as well as continuing to practice compound probability.
Activity 4 is about making predictions about how many people will win various games based on the probability. On the second part, students find expected value.
