Simple and compound machines study guide incorporates technology. Students will be able to research machines and watch videos using any available device. The video link also consists of quizzes and vocabulary games, pictures, and puzzles. For homework, students will scavenger hunt for machine at home. Using the templates provided, students will draw and label machines that they find at home. As much as study guides are attached to testing, with all the activities provided in this package, students will find it fun studying for the test. The activities can also be incorporated as group activities to encourage cooperation. By the end of the study students should be able to: Identify simple and compound machines around them, describe how they are used, compare and contrast different machines, differentiate between mechanical advantage and efficiency, and analyze compound machines by identifying simple machines forms them.
