¡Hola! The resource provided will help with a beginner introductory activity for students to recognize the components of basic greeting that will later be performed.
The first sheet should be given to the first student, while the second sheet is given to the second student. Students should cut out the cards. The objective is for students to match the Spanish and English meanings with each other.
After each student matches the Spanish and English meanings, they should work with their partner to determine what order the conversation should go in. They should determine what phrase (buenos días or buenas tardes) would be most appropriate in regards to the time of day the lesson is taking place. Student #1 should properly identify whether the person should be greeted as señor or señora.
The final component is for students to perform the conversation for the teacher. (For Chromebook classrooms: I recommend Recap or Screencastify for conversations to be recorded and turned in.)
