Product Description
In preparation for combining sentences, students must know the difference between simple sentences and compound sentences. Knowing when to use a comma and where to put the comma is vital. After students have a solid foundation of the difference between the two types, then it will be easier for them to understand complex sentences. An extension to sorting the types of sentences would be to have the student take the simple sentence and turn it into a compound sentence.
