Finally! A SIMPLIFIED teacher planner with only the pages you need daily access to. If you're anything like me, you can't stand having the same information in 1,000 different places, and ironically never where you need it. For me, I like to have all of the most important info right at my fingertips daily. My plan book includes some go to resource pages along with my week at a glance lesson plans. I don't need to know all the details on a daily basis… just the important stuff!
This product is the exact planner I have used and loved for 5 years. In that time, I noticed some patterns. There is certain info you look at daily or weekly, and then there's the info you definitely need, but can look up as a resource a number of times in the whole year. I also love for things to be portable! If I have a project to work on for the weekend, I don't want to bring home 3 different binders just to do one project. I want my plans and all my class info in an easy to grab place that goes literally everywhere with me. I've had SO MANY coworkers ask for me to send them my planner because seriously, they or I have never seen anything like the way I do my planner. They are simple, visual, and so easy to understand for helpers or subs too.
Please click the preview to see all the pages that are included. And when you purchase this product, be sure to read the "why" page too :) And as always, rate it when you're done so you can earn those points to buy more stuff for free!
Here's everything you will find in this unit page by page:
*Class List - write in your kiddo’s names. Numbered for those of you who treat them like sheep like the rest of us :)
*Student Information - only the important stuff. Write one for each kiddo: name, parent’s names, address, phone, email, and special notes.
*Transportation - keep track of how your kiddos go home each day in a super easy to read chart.
*Birthdays by the Month - I don’t need to see these names in abc order like everything else. I need to know what to expect in any given month. Write the date, a dash, and a first name. Easy.
*Student Allergies - we all need to know what to do in an emergency if a student has a particular allergy. I suggest asking this stuff in your welcome back email first thing! Write the student’s name, allergy, and what to do.
*Accelerated Reader Levels - use this to keep track of your students’ AR goals for the whole year. I write in their average level (goal) followed by a slash and then how many points I want them to get in that 9-weeks. This is one page is a best seller y’all!
*AR Rewards - on this one I included the way I do prizes but there is also a blank one so you can write in how you do it. Just put a check mark when the student earns the reward.
*Student of the Week - go ahead and assign your student of the week at the beginning of the year! Write in the names and dates you choose for a given week. I have mine do a little poster and the class will write something about them. I have an awesome product for this if you want... click here!
*Character Recognition - at my school we call this Kids of Character. We pick 1-3 kids each month to be recognized for displaying a certain desirable character trait like loyalty, honesty, integrity, etc. Use this to either keep track or assign ahead of time. Write the student’s name, trait, and month assigned.
*Lesson Plan Template and Example - super simplified lesson plan template. Print them off and make enough for the whole year. To see how I fill mine out I included a sample week from my plan book this year!
*Binder Cover and Spine Options - pick your cover of choice and correct size for spine if you choose to store your planner pages in a standard binder!
