Simplifying Linear Expressions Cooperative Learning Game
About this resource :
This game provides students with a fun and collaborative way to review simplifying expressions using the distributive property and combining like terms, as well as adding and subtracting linear expressions. You can use only the game cards you need – making it easy to differentiate. Four total game cards are given.
Two versions are included - both have the exact same questions. One version requires students to roll two number cubes in order to find the expression and variable to substitute they will use and the second comes with a printable spinner.
How to play :
Each pair needs a game board and one spinner or two number cubes. They take turns spinning the spinners to determine which two expressions they will use to complete the directions on their game board. A student worksheet has been included – or you can simply have them use plain paper. CLICK HERE
