This scavenger hunt contains problems that have students simplifying expressions. Some of the problems have operations with decimals and fractions. I have also included problems in which students find perimeter of figures by simplifying expressions.
Scavenger Hunt Directions
Hang the problem cards around the room. Students should have the recording sheet or a blank sheet of paper to record their answers and show work. Have students pick a place to start. . Students need to record the letter of the problem they are starting on. Once they finish the problem they go around the room and look for their answer. When they find the answer they record the letter and do that problem. They continue until they get through all the problems and end up with the problem they started on.
