*Editable* This is a set of 2 different 9 question circuit/scavenger hunt on simplifying fractions. One is more simple usually requiring only one step, and the other one is more challenging. This activity allows students to get up and move around the room (Though there's an option to do it sitting down too) and it's self-checking so my students always enjoyed it.
This should be a great way to start a fraction unit because I know from my own experience that often times students do not struggle with fraction operations themselves, but struggle with what to do with their answer.
This is a PowerPoint, so if you find a question that doesn’t fit your classroom needs you can easily edit it.
At the end of the PowerPoint I included a recording sheet in case you want to use it. I usually had students fold a piece of notebook paper to save copies.
There are also directions on how to use the circuit, and how to print it. There is also an answer key on the last page where you can see the answer to each question as well as what card that takes the student to.
Please make sure to edit only for personal use in the classroom.
