Simplifying fractions practice is more engaging when color is involved!
- Students simplify the proper fractions in 15 or 20 problems, self-check, and then color, in both print and digital versions!

These simplifying fractions problems require students to:
- Simplify proper fractions
In this simplifying proper fractions resource you get:
1) 2 print versions
- Print version A
- Problem sheet with 20 questions: denominators are ≥ 24
- Coloring sheet
- Print version B
- Problem sheet with 15 questions: denominators are ≤ 24, except for 2 fractions with denominator of 100
- Coloring sheet
2) Google Slides version
- Same problems and mostly same color pattern/colors as print Version A
- Students type their answers in the answer box
- Students use the ‘Fill color’ bucket to color the shapes
- Questions are not editable (they are in the background) but the shapes and numbers in the pattern ARE movable.
- If your school isn't using Google Slides, but you're able to access the link in the PDF, you can download the Google Slides as a PPT and students can interact with the PPT file in the same way.
