This product is great for centers, early finisher activities, or for a review game. Simply laminate and cut out the pieces then have students match each improper fraction to the simplified mixed number.

What's included?

► 2 Printing Options: Print out the colored version OR the black & white version on colored sheets of paper.
► 2 Recording sheet options

This activity aligns with Common Core State Standards:
4.NF.A.1 Explain why a fraction a/b is equivalent to a fraction (n × a)/(n × b)
3.NF.A.3.C Express whole numbers as fractions, and recognize fractions that are equivalent to whole numbers.

Note: The shapes of pieces are the same on each page, but each page is a different color with the same denominator. The mixed numbers are not in simplest form, but I will add another product soon which includes improper fractions, mixed numbers, and mixed numbers in simplest form.
