Operations with Square Roots Scavenger Hunt:
Students will solidify their knowledge of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing square roots by completing 15 problems in a scavenger hunt format. *Answer key included*
Print each of the following pages on colored paper and hang around the room (my students also loved it when I placed some of the pages in the hallway). This will give you 15 stations (15 problems). Give each student the Scavenger Hunt Worksheet. Individually or in partners, the students will first pick a station to begin with (they can begin anywhere). They must simplify the radical from that station in the designated box. Then look for that answer in the answer key area of the worksheet. This will correspond with a new figure, which is where the students should head to next. They will know they are done when they have every box of their worksheet filled.
