This is a one-sided practice page with 6 questions over applying simplifying square roots to other mathematical applications. Specifically, the two application concepts are the quadratic formula and the Pythagorean theorem.
The first four questions ask the student to solve the quadratic equation by using the quadratic formula. In three of the questions, the radical has to be simplified. There are two Pythagorean theorem questions next and after performing the Pythagorean theorem, the radicals will need to be simplified. 6 questions total. Key included.
