This is 18 problems that deal with simplifying radicals at an Algebra 2 level. It only includes multiplying and dividing radicals, and a few require students to rationalize the denominator. All of the problems include variables in the simplifying.
I use this as a practice day for my students to hone in their simplifying skills before moving to adding/subtracting and then solving radical equations.
Each question is the top half and the bottom half is the answer to the previous problem. I post the cards randomly around the room and tell the students to complete a problem, find the answer on another card, and then complete that problem until they have worked their way through all of the problems. The solution is, "What does this spell?" which is very tongue and cheek but my students found that solution humorous in the end. You could easily switch the letters to anything that is 18 characters, with or without spaces.
