Students tuned out? Instead of doing another boring old worksheet; try this fun, self-checking scavenger hunt and get your students up and moving around while they practice simplifying radicals! This product consists of 12 problems in which must write a radical in its simplest form
There are problems with a single radical as well as a few that have been partially broken down already and the students must finish simplifying them.
Post the pages around the room in a random order. Provide each student with a copy of the student work page. This allows them to easily keep their work organized. The students may start on whichever letter they choose. They solve the problem on that page, find the answer on the bottom of another page, then solve the problem on that page. They continue around the room in this manner until they arrive back at the letter where they started. Starting with the “G” page, the letters will spell GOURMANDIZES when completed correctly. This makes it super easy for you to check! Enjoy!
