Students often have difficulty understanding how to simplify answers when using the quadratic formula.
This product includes two worksheets of ten problems each. Students will practice writing answers in simplest radical form. Although students are using the quadratic formula as they simplify some of the problems, knowing the quadratic formula is not a prerequisite for this activity.
I like to use this the day before introducing the quadratic formula.
Ideas for use:
-Use one copy for notes and the other as an assignment.
-Use the extra worksheet as an additional assignment if more practice is needed.
