This product has 6 non-simplified rational expressions that can be simplified by factoring and factoring out common factors.
There are two tables with three problems in each. The non-simplified expressions are hidden among factors and answers.
The students first find a non-simplified rational expression, fully factor the numerator and denominator, find their factors in the table (as a way of checking their work), "cancel" common factors, and find their answer in the table (as a way of checking their work).
The activity may be printed on one side of a sheet of paper or using the back-to-back copy, it may be printed on both sides of a sheet of paper and cut in half to use less paper.
My students liked this activity!
